Soft and luminous, like the glowing white cliffs of Rügen.

The magnificent chalk cliffs of Rügen (and Dover) are composed of an exceptionally soft limestone made up of highly symmetrical spheres. Around 137 million years ago, tiny algae formed small, round, calcite coccoliths which they used to build coccospheres. The round housing is so robust that it has remained intact, allowing the chalk cliffs of Rügen and Dover to glow like white gold on the horizon. The pores between the spheres catch the light, absorb it into their curves and reflect it back as softly as silk.
Customer feedback
"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
