In fog, small droplets of water cover surfaces and reflect rays of light. Everything begins to shine, and the landscape looks dreamy and poetic. Dusky gray achieves this effect with natural pigments. They contain highly reflective particles exposed by weathering, and these reflect light rays from a wall’s surface. This play of light lends soft contours to a surface, and spaces look deeper. In spaces with low levels of lighting, Dusky gray – like other natural gray colors – has an effect that warms and comforts.
