A versatile, durable acrylic paint with the depth of pure pigments.
Description
The kt.COLOR Satinée paint is a water-based, matte acrylic paint for walls and ceilings, wood, and metal, both indoors and outdoors. It is particularly suitable for use in high-traffic areas.

Notice
Not all pigments are weather-resistant. Please refer to the current list of weather-resistant colors.
The surface can be protected with the clear lacquers kt.COLOR M050 PUR gloss lacquer, M054 PUR satin lacquer or M056 Acrylic 2K matt lacquer.
Subsoil
Suitable substrates: old paintwork, non-woven wallpaper, wallpaper, cardboard, textiles, plasterboard, plaster substrates, concrete, masonry, wood paneling, wood-based materials, primed metals.
The surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax, release agents, flaking paint, mold or distemper.
Shiny surfaces should be dulled before painting.
New plaster, concrete and masonry surfaces must be allowed to set for at least 30 days before painting, be fully cured and have a pH < 10.
Remove any flaking paint and sand these areas to smooth the edges with the adjacent color. Fill and prime these areas.

Sound existing paintwork, non-woven wallpaper, wallpaper, fiberglass wallpaper, cardboard:
- 2 coats of kt.COLOR Satinée
Concrete, new plaster surfaces, gypsum, plasterboard:
- Prime with M013 Tiefgrund
- 2 coats of kt.COLOR Satinée
Wood, wood-based materials, primed metal:
- Prime with M010 Acrylic Primer
- 2 coats of kt.COLOR Satinée
Surfaces to be designed with Satinée metallic colors:
- Prime with M011 Gesso
- 2 coats of kt.COLOR Satinée
Surfaces to be sprayed with Satinée paints, such as MDF:
- Prime with filler primer (test compatibility)
- 2 coats of kt.COLOR Satinée
Processing and consumption
