A deep and balanced color between blue and green.

Petrol, a word derived from the terms "rock" and "oil", describes the blue-green shimmering color of oil reflections on water. A similar shade can be found in the iridescent neck plumage of the Eurasian teal. In both cases, the variable chromatic effect is created by sky reflections on surfaces that absorb red pigments and reflect an intense green-blue. Petrol will always be a fascinating wall paint because it is forever undecided between blue and green. The strong play of colors opens a wide range of possibilities for interior design.
