The blue of the horizon above the ocean, the heavenly blue beyond the imposing mountains – how can such colors be formulated? The wish list includes the fragile red of the poppy flower, the silvery color of the full moon, which is neither white nor yellow, and the dark blue in the depths of the ocean. The colors in nature appeal to all of our senses, but they are difficult to achieve with paint formulations. This charming light blue made with ultramarine is surprisingly reminiscent of a cloudless summer sky, however!
